Daily Attendance Matters
Students are expected to attend school every day. Children who miss school miss out on opportunities to learn, build lasting friendships, and develop the skills and attitudes needed to become good citizens and valued employees. There is a clear connection between student attendance and student performance in school, so come to school on time and every day! We have a variety of incentives to celebrate students for excellent attendance, which is a skill demonstrating priority for learning, individual and group responsibility, and good habits for lifelong success.

Student Attendance Laws in California
All children between 6 and 18 years of age are required to attend school by the state of California. We offer an optional Transitional Kindergarten program starting at Age 4 (birthday before September 1), and bilingual and English only Kindergarten starting at Age 5.
